These proceedings are based on a CGS convening in February 2017 that concluded a Best Practices project supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation (#1138814). The focus of our work was addressing minority attrition and completion in STEM doctoral programs as well as diversifying the pipeline to STEM doctoral study. It will be of particular interest to graduate deans, graduate admissions professionals, faculty, and diversity officers.
