The AZ Earn to Learn (AZEL) program is a collaboration of the Arizona Board of Regents, the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and Northern Arizona University. Its purpose is to help limited-income Arizonans to save for college.
Sponsored by The George R. Houston Memorial Fund, the Office of Student Financial Services, and the Georgetown University Alumni & Student Federal Credit Union (GUASFCU), we seek out professors in the business school, financial literacy experts, and local alumni to develop engaging and informative workshops on topics such as budgeting, credit and debt management, loans, investing, taxes, etc.
The goal of the Financial Literacy program is to provide Georgia State University students with the information and tools to be financially literate and successful. The program will provide information and tools on the following financial literacy topics: Budgeting, Credit and Credit Cards, Personal Finance and Debt Management, and Loan Management and Student Loan Consolidation.
It is the mission of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UHM) Financial Literacy Program to impart financial education to our students and the community-at-large. The program provides accurate and reliable financial information through a collaboration of professionals and students who serve as educators, facilitators, peer leaders, and partners. The focus is campus-based with outreach to other colleges and high schools throughout Hawaii.
The "I Otto Know This!" program is a multi-level financial literacy program that provides Syracuse University students with the skills and resources necessary to successfully manage their money. The program is designed to provide financial management tools to undergraduate and graduate students throughout their education.
MyCollegeMoneyPlan.org is the result of work done by the Financial Literacy Project at Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas. The website is designed to first assist college bound students in selecting post-secondary education that not only meets their academic and career goals but also focus on what the student and family can reasonably afford. It contains worksheets and guidance to help build a multi-year financial plan.
The goal of the program is to empower Duke Students and Alumni to make informed financial decisions by providing them with financial management knowledge and skills necessary to navigate life events that affect everyday financial decisions, discuss issues surrounding personal finances, and plan for the future.
Powercat Financial Counseling began in August 2009 when Student Governing Association allocated student centered tuition enhancement (SCTE) funds for the creation of a program to provide students free assistance and counseling on personal finances. The program was designed as a peer-to-peer program where students studying financial planning or financial services offer counseling to fellow students on budgeting, saving, credit, student loan repayment and transitioning to work.
