Tracking and assessing student learning outcomes within one course can be accomplished with relative ease. However, the true challenge lies within providing data for student learning outcomes for an entire program. In today’s world it is easier and easier for students to access content outside of the classroom. This can create more room for face-to-face teaching and learning inside the classroom. Using technology outside of class makes it possible to teach without technology (“teaching naked”). In this interactive workshop, Dr. Bowen explores better ways to engage students in the classroom.
